New trainer for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Steve Polack has promised to revive the ailing fortunes of the club ahead of his imminent arrival for the second half of the campaign. The English trainer for Berekum Chelsea recently agreed a deal with the beleaguered Kumasi based to trade camps for the start of the second department of the season.
The expatriate trainer for the Blues enjoyed two spells in the Ghana premier league with King Faisal and Berekum Chelsea before returning to the Golden City for the start of the current campaign. The soft spoken tactician masterminded an impressive home record for the 2010 league that has so far dropped points just on one occasion, coincidentally against Kotoko.
Speaking to Joy Sports ahead of his imminent arrival at the camp of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Steve Polack echoed the need for collective approach that includes the fans, management, the players and anybody related to the club.
“We know where Kumasi Asante Kotoko should be and we are going to work extra harder to achieve that. The players are going to work harder, the management will work harder, the fans will work harder and we are going to work together”, Steve Polack told Joy Sports
Kumasi Asante Kotoko parted ways with their croat trainer Zdravko Lugarusic after eight games into the campaign and are winless since that time.
