Manchester City continued their massive squad overhaul with the arrival of Brazilian full back Danilo from Real Madrid. The Ittihad based side announced the arrival of the flying fullback in a short ceremony after a successful medicals with the English giants.
The Manchester based side added the Brazilian import to their hugely assembled new looking Citizens side predominantly led a new defensive set up. Pep Guardiola and his ambitious club added the former Real Madrid right back less then two weeks after the arrival of Kyle Walker from the White Hart Lane.
The arrival of the former Blancos right back took the summer transfer budget beyond the 250 million pounds in defensive reenforcement alone. Danilo joins Kyle Walker, Mendy, Ederson Moraes in what is likely going to be new looking back four for the Citizens next season.
The Brazilian comes with lots of experience in the European game having graced the Portuguese Premera division before joining Real Madrid. Two Champions league medals, one La Liga trophy and a host of other team glories highlighted Danilo’s tenure at Real Madrid.
