U17 AfCON: Black Starlets to arrive home tomorrow

written by Editor May 29, 2017

The national under-17 team the Black Starlets are expected to touch down at the Kotoka International Airport tomorrow May 30th after   missing out on the  2017 under-17 AFCON. The twinkle twinkle little stars lost to Mali in the grand finale but has booked their place on the global roster.

The team will arrive at the Kotoka airport at 12:45 pm on Tuesday to what is expected to be a rousing welcome to the Starlets who have already booked a place in 2017 under-17 World Cup

Coach Fabin’s boys lost painfully to defending champions Mali on Sunday through a goal that came from a rebound after the ball was saved Ghana’s keeper.

The Starlets will come home to begin preparations for the World Cup that is slated for October 6th
