Accra Great Olympics have pushed Medeama SC to tender in concrete evidence if they think Tom Strand Strand still has a running contract with them. The Wonder Club landed the controversial Swede as a free agent in a bid to salve their sinking season only for Medeama to come asking for legal documentation as to why Olympics should by-pass them to seal a deal with their former manager.
Experience football administrator, Oluboi Commodore, who doubles as the administrative manager for Olympics dared Medeama to test the legal department if they claim Tom is still bonded to them. The ace administrator laughed off threats from Medeama SC as to whether they have the legal wherewithal to negotiate with the Swede.
“It is a joke. That is a big joke. Tom Strand had a contract with Medeama SC which expired on January 28, 2017. We have a copy of that document.
“If they have a case with Tom Strand they can carry on. It is with Tom and not Olympics but do they even have a case?”, Oluboi quizzed.
Medeama SC and Tom Strand enjoyed a tragicomedy relationship that ended bizarrely in an international trip with the Swede leaving prematurely after leasing the club to the 2016 MTN FA CUP glory.
