Former Ghana U20 star midfielder Moses Odjier dazzled fans over the weekends to power Salernitana into a 2-0 win Pichio Ascoli. The Ghana youth international failed to find the back of the net but his overall display on the pitch raised question marks as to whether Salernitana can keep in him next season.
The 20 year old attacking midfielder terrorised opposition players all game long and came close to ending his goal drought but for lady luck eluding him on the day. The Ghanaian however orchestrated the opening goal which was finished with a plumb by Matia Sprochati just 2 minutes into the second half.
Alexandre Bernardini’s insurance strike only confirmed the winner in the Serie B clash. Salernitana moved into the 12th slot on the log while Ascoli dropped to 13th with 38 points.
Former Wa All Stars midfielder Bright Christopher Addae missed out for Ascoli.
