With the Chief Executive Officer position of Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak being vacant after the nomination of Vincent Odoitei Sowah as a deputy minister for communication by His Excellency President Akuffo Addo, Hearts of oak are in search for his successor.
Speaking to Accra based Happy FM, former communication director of the club, Albert Commey, who now heads the CEO position at Aduana Stars ruled himself out for the position.
When quizzed on the rumours linking him to a possible return to Hearts of Oak, Albert Commey disclosed he is happy at Aduana Stars.
“The truth of the matter is I’m happy with my current position in Aduana, I have a very good relationship with everybody in the club. We have set a target which we must meet at the end of the season, so I wouldn’t let anything distract me.”
He added, “I have seen all the names earmarked for the position and I believe they are competent people but I think if my name has come up as one of the candidates’ job, I will treat it as a commendation because like I said, I’m happy with Aduana.”
“My time with the Hearts is over and it’s time for somebody else to take up the mantle but whatever decision they’ll take, as a staunch Hearts fan I’ll support it with all my heart,” Commey added.
