Solomon Asante Set To Part Ways With TP Mazembe At The End of The Season

written by Editor March 23, 2017

In form Solomon Asante is set to end his stay in DR Congo at the end of the current season . The TP Mazembe Ghanaian import won the heart of the Lubumbashi based side since his arrival from Berekum Chelsea in 2011 but has since ruled out renewing his current deal which runs down in the summer.

The talented attacker has so far enjoyed an enormous success in his days with TP Mazembe that includes both the CAF champions league and Confederation cup along side other domestic honours. The diminutive attacker however look destined to continue his glamorous career outside the shores of Dr Congo when the current season rolls over.

Solomon Asante extended his barnstorming form into the current campaign with a league high 14 assist under his name on return from injury. He and his disappointed team mates surprisingly missed out on a spot in the extended format of the champions league and will have to battle for a place in the confederation cup.
