TEMA YOUTH WIN TO PILE MORE PRESSURE ON BOLGA ALLSTARS

written by sportsAdmin March 4, 2017

Tema Youth sealed a crucial home win against struggling Bolga All Stars in a Ghana Premier League clash on Saturday at the Tema Park.

A goal each from Joseph Paintsil and Michael Kporvi steered the Habours Boys to winning ways after picking up just a point in their last two games against Ashgold and Elmina Sharks.
Paintsil opened the scoring on 65 minutes, then minutes later, Michael Kporvi doubled the lead much to the delight of Tema Youth fans present.

Tema Youth were left frustrated at half time after they failed to convert their chances but it was not the case in the second department as Joseph Paintsil gave them a deserved lead, his third goal of the season, all scored at home.
The Habour Boys did not relent after grabbing the goal as they continued to press and were rewarded with a second. Michael Kporvi scoring with a superb effort.

The win sees Tema Youth move up to third on the log while Bolga remain 13th but their positions could change depending on the results of other Matchday 5 games tomorrow.
