Black Stars attacker Andre Ayew came off the bench to rescue a point for West Ham United in a 1-1 drawn game at Watford. The former Swans forward tapped home a rebound from Michael Antonio after replacing Robert Snotgrass to tie the scores for the Hammers.
Slaven Bilic’s men slipped to an early minute set back away to the Yellows and struggled to claw themselves back all game long. The Hammers gaffer however unleashed his Ghanaian import who responded as such with the equaliser 8 minutes on his arrival.
Andre joined West Ham from rivals Swansea City where his dream start to life in English football was enough to get the alarm bells ringing. The former Olympic Marseilles forward somehow failed to replicate his monstrous goal scoring form at the Uptown Park with one league goal in 12 appearances.
