GPL: Two Games To Be Televised Over The Weekends

written by Editor February 22, 2017

Match day four of the 2017 Star Times premier league season will see two of the top line fixtures televised over the weekends. The live coverage will the cameras heading to Sogakope on saturday for the blockbustre clash involving Aduana Stars and WAFA SC before returning to Accra for head line fixture between Hearts of Oak and Wa All Stars  on Sunday.

The two deciding ties have been carefully selected among the list of appetizing fixtures due to their implication on the eventual standing of the league after the match day. The division’s early pace setters, Aduana Stars picked a point in Sogakope and could not have asked for a better time to seek for three points at the waterloo Sogakope. Th expected end to end stuff will flood the local television in the week’s early kick off across eight television stations.

The Champions, Wa All Stars , opens their title defense with bloody clash away to an Accra Hearts of Oak side chasing its first three points at the fourth time of asking. The wounded Phobians however could have opted for a better opponent than sunday’s host, having lost 4 of the past 9 home fixtures to Wa All Stars. A live coverage will even spice the tie as both sort it for domestic supremacy.
