Former Medeama SC skipper , Hans Kwoffie, announced his arrival in Obuasi with a blistering treble in a 3-1 win over Accra Great Olympics. The Elephants were guided home from their Dormaa setback with a trio of goals from their new recruit.
Hans Kwoffie teamed up perfectly with Amos Addai to take the pride away from Accra Great Olympics. The pair tormented the 1970 and 1974 league champions on either side of the game.
Kwoffie finished off a nice ball from Amos Addai on with 8 minutes to recess to open the scoring for Bashiru Hayford’s side inside the roaring Len Clay. The former Mauve and Yellows capitano however doubled his personal tally three minutes later to make it 2-0.
Amos Addai and his new partner in crime nailed the coffin for burial with their collective third of the day. Same ball from Amos Addai located Hans Kwoffie less than 60 seconds into the second department of the game.
Accra Great Olympics all aid the gravity of the defeat with a consolation strike from Able Manamey, whose compose finish on the hour mark made it 3-1. It was however too little to deny the host their 10th win in the last 19 games against Olympics in the GPL.
It eventually ended 3-1 with Hans Kwoffie picking his mandatory MOTM accolade.
