Kumasi Asante Kotoko has completed the signing of Hearts of Oak winger, Ashitey Ollenu on a two year deal.
The Kotoko Express, the club’s official newspaper reported today that the club had concluded the deal to sign the player after impressing at trial.
The paper also disclosed that the deal was financed by staunch fan Christopher Demenya, Chief Executive Officer of Chrisbill Group of Companies.
Ashitey Ollenu became a free agent after his deal with Hearts ran out at the end of the 2016 season.
He becomes Kotoko’s 9th signing ahead of the start of the 2017 league season after Abass Mohammed, Kwame Boahene, Awudu Nafiu, Yakubu Mohammed, Isaac Quansah, Prince Acquah, Baba Mahama and Seth Opare all completed moves to the Porcupine camp earlier.
